I binged these gorgeous books at the beginning of this year and I’m kicking myself for not reading these sooner. But I seem to have timed it perfectly considering the recent announcement of three more books. Warner and Juliet make my little shippy heart swoon.
Hold Me Down has a special place in my heart. Who knew a story about a girl realizing it’s okay to love BDSM and she’s not wrong for doing so could help this little ace girl feel liberated. This is a very yummy read, with some important lessons woven through.
This has got to be the best finale I’ve ever read to a series ever. Everything I wanted and more happened. Everything got wrapped up and a few things have pleasant loose ends, those that feel hopeful without leaving you feeling cheated. I mean if you haven’t started this series yet what are you even doing with your life?
This book about an ace girl made my heart sing. I reviewed it more in depth in my first ever weekly round up but I can not talk about this book enough. Ever.
I was excited at the premise of this book but man did it blow me out of the water. I absolutely love pirates and I feel like we don’t get enough badass lady pirates. I can’t wait to unravel more of this crews mysteries and more swoon-worthy romance.
I am happy to say that nearly half of this list is about LGBTQ+ characters and my little queer heart is singing. This one was a gem. From family problems to coming of age problems. The setting reminded me of something out of a Dessen novel, one of those sleepy summer towns. This has everything you need for a good summer read.
I read the first of these last year and fell utterly in love with all of the characters. Dahlia has a knack for writing characters that seem to jump right off the page. I know someone in my life to similar to each of these characters, but they’re still unique in their own way. Cait’s romance in this one was so juicy I couldn’t contain myself. Though I’m still swooning more over Conner (don’t tell Lawrence Mason that).
This is my favorite of the three books in the Radleigh University series and oh my goodness is this one good. First of all, it has the first on page pan character I’ve ever seen and man is she hot. I love Frankie. She knows what she wants and she’s going to go after it. The player settles down trope is heavy in this one but man was I impressed with it. How often is the player a girl? And settles down with a girl for that matter?
Saga keeps tearing my heart out with every new volume. This story is vulgar, unique and everything I didn’t know I wanted in a comic. I am so invested in these characters and the fact that literally, the whole galaxy is keeping them from being happy is killing me. Hopefully, someday they’ll be happy for like a whole hour.
I know this one is just a novella but it was the most delicious thing I have read in a long time. Roshani creates worlds that leap off the page and never seem to ever leave you. I loved all the insight and back story this gives, which makes me love The Star-Touched Queen even more.
