ARC August TBR

ARC August is in it’s 6th year hosted over at Read.Sleep.Repeat. Participants challenge themselves to only read ARCs for the month of August and strike off as many books as they can off their TBR piles. (Lord knows mine is far too large) What am I trying to tackle for my first time participating? Find out more below! (Also how cute is their graphic?)

 Goals for ARC August:

  • Read 20 books ( I can totally do it)
  • Review them all ( yes ALL of them)
  • Get my Netgalley Feedback ratio to 80%
  • Cross-post my reviews to GR, Amazon, and B&N
  • Feature the reviews on my blog (Maybe a weekly series?)

Now we’ll get to the part you all care about, the books!

Upcoming 2018 ARCs:

I am so excited for all of these! There’s a great mix of genres and there are even two anthologies included in the mix. I’m so excited for Blanca & Roja. I haven’t read a Colleen Houck book in years so I’m hoping the magic is still there.

Backlist ARCs:

I wasn’t as focused on backlist because of all the shiny upcoming releases I have lying around. However, these were all books I was DYING to get my hands on and yet for some reason never picked up before they were published. There’s a good variety here too and it’ll help me reach both my ARC August and yearly bookish goals.

Are you participating too? Link me to your ARC August posts and TBRs below! Have you read any of these? What did you think? Which should I start with first?

    • Thank you! I made goals at the last second and that’s so I don’t just plow through the books and then forget everything about them when I try and review them. (So like every time I read a book and don’t immediately review it) Good luck to you too!

  1. OMG OMG OMG I SEE GIRL AND SPY AND I AM SO EXCITED. I hope you love them as much as I do! Wild Beauty and Girl Made of Stars are favorites of mine, too. I just read Summer Bird Blue last month, and it was excellent. AHHH BLANCA Y ROJA I CANNOT WAIT FOR THAT ONE. I am so excited to see your reviews for all of these!

    • I’ve been meaning to read Girl and Spy forever and I really don’t know why I haven’t gotten to them. Blanca y Roja was everything I wanted and more. I did a mini review in my wrap up post Sunday if you want to see it! I absolutely love Anna-Marie so I’m sure Wild Beauty will be a favorite.
